Based in Sydney, Australia, Mud Australia is a line of porcelain ceramics designed by Shelley Simpson. Shelley fell in love with ceramics in the early 1990s, when she moved in with a friend who had a hand wheel in her backyard. Combining hand made processes, clean lines, color palettes, and functionality, the end results are products that neatly intersect a minimalist aesthetic with an artisan finish. As a small business, Mud Austrailia strongly believes in the global values of craft and community.
