Jennifer Estevan
Carrying on a family legacy of pottery making, Jennifer Estevan began experimenting with clay at the age of 14. She specializes in Acoma pottery, which originates from the Acoma Pueblo Native American tribe in New Mexico. Using the ancient Acoma techniques of handcoiling and outdoor firing, Estevan creates one-of-kind pieces from natural materials and pigments. She particularly enjoys making pots in the traditional olla style, which features a narrow base that gradually widens and tapers again at the mouth.
